Dennis Mason

Dennis M. Mason has
served as the City of Atlantic City’s Fifth Ward
Councilmember since 1999. A
retired Atlantic City Police Detective, after 29.4 years of dedicated
service, he also worked for the Public Water Department for 6 years and
is presently employed by the State of New Jersey with the Casino
Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA), a position he has held for
the past 11 years.
Dennis M. Mason has served as the City of Atlantic City’s
Fifth Ward Councilmember since 1999.
A retired Atlantic City Police Detective, after 29.4 years of dedicated

Councilman Mason is a former member of both the Atlantic City Planning
Board and Zoning Board and was the former Chairman of the
City’s
Public Safety Committee and Public Works Committee. He
currently
serves as Chairman of the City of Atlantic City’s Revenue and
Finance Committee and is a board member of the Atlantic City Municipal
Utilities Authority (MUA).
Councilman Mason is an active member of the Chelsea Neighborhood
Association; a league commissioner of the Chelsea Little League
Baseball Team; and a devoted member of the Latino Cultural Association.
A life-long resident of Atlantic City, Councilman Mason has been
married for 39 years. He has two children and six
grandchildren.
