Atlantic City Municipal court sessions are suspended through April 26, 2020 in order to mitigate public exposure to COVID-19. Individuals who are scheduled to appear before the municipal court during this period should await notice of a new court date.
You can call the court (609-347-5560) Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 8 am – 12 pm. To access and pay your traffic or parking ticket information online, visit www.njmcdirect.com (Court Code: 0102). Criminal fine or traffic fine payments can be mailed to 2715 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, or dropped off in person using the drop box located on the 2nd floor of the Public Safety Building.
CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS ONLY may be deposited in the drop box. (Place your summons number/ ticket number on the check or money order)
Certain matters may be disposed of without a defendant having to personally appear in court. This is is referred to as a “PLEA BY MAIL”. If you would like to see if your case may be handled by this option please do the following:

• IF REPRESENTED BY THE PUBLIC DEFENDER: Call the Atlantic City Public Defender’s Office @ 609-347-5899 (Tuesday and Thursday 8 am-11 am).
• IF PRO SE (Representing yourself): Call the Atlantic City Prosecutor’s Office @609-347-5885 (Monday – Thursday 8:30 am to 12 pm).
