The City of Atlantic City Purchasing Division is responsible for assisting all City Departments in obtaining price quotes and issuing Purchase Orders for supplies, equipment and services as needed. City Ordinances and the State of New Jersey laws govern operations and purchases under the New Jersey State Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. to provide a fair and equal treatment for all vendors doing business with the City of Atlantic City.
Vendors are encouraged to call for an appointment with the Purchasing Agent before attempting to contact other departments. If appropriate, the Purchasing Office will arrange contacts with other departments

HOW TO OBTAIN AN RFQ, RFP or BID
Opportunities are advertised in the Press of Atlantic City (newspaper) and posted on the City website www.cityofatlanticcity.org under Government Menu – Documents. In order to obtain an RFQ, RFP or Bid package (which can be emailed, mailed or are available for pick up) please contact the Purchasing Division Office, City Hall, 1301 Bacharach Blvd., 3rd Floor, Room 310, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 , (609) 347-5390.
PURCHASING BOARD
RFQ, RFP and Bids are received at Purchasing Board Meetings on the due date and time instructed on the Notice to Bidders. Purchasing Board Meetings are held in Council Chambers, City Hall, 1301 Bacharach Blvd., 2nd Floor, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

RESULTS
Following Purchasing Board Meetings, a list of all received items and vendor name(s) are posted to the City website www.cityofatlanticcity.org under Government Menu – Documents. All Bid documents are open for inspection in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 704 City Hall. RFQ and RFP results are made public at time of award.
