Office Supervisor | Solicitor’s Office | At the direction of the City Solicitor, the Office Supervisor, supervises and coordinates the clerical staff and assignments of the Solicitor’s office; does other related work. |
Assistant Municipal Attorney | Solicitor’s Office | At the direction of the City Solicitor, the Assistant Municipal Attorney advises city leaders on matters related to ethics, personnel, ordinances, contracts, land use, taxes, and finance. Stays informed on changes to state and federal laws that impact the municipality. Informs the appropriate elected officials and city staff as laws are being debated in the state legislature or Congress. Drafts city laws and contracts. Reviews all contracts and memoranda to ensure that the city’s legal interests are not compromised. |
Clerk II | Human Resources | Under limited supervision, performs clerical work involving the processing of documents in a variety of functions; performs moderately complex and non-routine clerical work; may provide guidance and assistance to other staff; does other related duties as required. |
Clerk IV | Licensing & Inspection – Code Enforcement | Under direction, supervises, plans and coordinates the activities of one (1) or more clerical unit(s) involved in the processing of documents in a variety of functions; performs highly responsible and varied clerical work; provides technical assistance in the issuance of construction permits to ensure compliance with the provisions of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code; does other related duties as required. |
Field Representative Property Improvement | Licensing & Inspection – Code Enforcement | Under direction, conducts inspections and area surveys to implement a Property Maintenance Code Enforcement Program designed to eliminate neighborhood blight and substandard structures; inspects residential, commercial, and industrial structures, and performs related public information work on home maintenance and renovations; does related work as required. |
License Inspector – Part Time | Licensing & Inspection – Code Enforcement | Under direction performs varied types of field and office work involved in ensuring that varied business premises comply with municipal license ordinances, rules, and regulations; does other related duties as required. |
Winter Seasonal Drivers | Public Works | Under direction, drives a truck to transport nonhazardous materials, equipment, or people during the winter and snow season. Does other related work. |
